4RU of Belaruskali. Reconstruction of type Gear Stem 3 and 4
Reconstruction of tower copers of trunks №3 and №4 is one of the most technologically complex objects of Passat LLC for the reconstruction of existing production facilities. The height of the building is 125m.
Due to the need to ensure safety and continuity of production, SMR was conducted in separate sections and for a limited time. In order for the coper to work without interruptions, temporary enclosing structures were built on the facades before the work was carried out, which provided the temperature and humidity regime of the coper. A significant amount of SMR was carried out on the Kopra site, where complete tightness of the enclosing structures was required for uninterrupted air supply to the mines.
The condition of existing enclosing structures, whose service life was equal to the age of the mine, was assessed as emergency. This required the use of non-standard methods of dismantling and the equipment used.
Due to the presence of continuously operating sources of radiation, construction and installation works from the +30m mark to the +52m mark were carried out during a limited time of their shutdown - 2 hours a day.
Installation of elements of strengthening of metal structures was made only with the help of rigging due to the lack of lifting mechanisms inside the building.
A total of 1,687 wall panels were removed.
Mounted wall panels: 757 PCs.
Dismantled metal structures: more than 560 tons.
Installed metal structures: more than 560 tons.
