The reconstruction completing of the existing competing tower pile drivers of the shafts №3 and №4

Passat LLC is completing one of the most difficult projects for the company - the reconstruction of the existing tower pile drivers of the shafts №3 and №4 of the Production Unit 4 Belaruskali, JSC.
Their height is 125 meters. The service life has exceeded four decades. Wall structures and supports were in disrepair. And all reconstruction work had to be carried out in the conditions of uninterrupted operation of the pile drivers.  

Passat specialists built temporary enclosing structures on the facades to ensure the temperature and humidity conditions of the pile driver. A significant part of the construction and installation work was carried out on the pile driver sections, which required complete tightness of the enclosing structures in order to continuously provide the mines with air.

Already having enclosing structures, in view of the service life, were regarded as emergency. This required the use of non-standard methods of dismantling and the used rigging. 

The working process was complicated by the lack of lifting mechanisms inside the building, and rigging was used.
